Linda Souve

Linda R. Souve is the Senior Partner at Souve, Pendracki, & Burks P.L.L.C. and has been practicing law in the Downriver community for nearly 30 years. Ms. Souve’s primary focus is family law in Wayne County. She represents both men and women with an unbiased approach.

Ms. Souve is also a family law mediator. In mediation, couples work to resolve their own settlements with Ms. Souve acting as a neutral facilitator. Many couples have had their disputes successfully resolved through mediation with Ms. Souve.

From Eastern Michigan University, Ms. Souve earned both a bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree. She earned her law degree from Wayne State University. She is a member of the Michigan Bar Association, past president of the Downriver Bar Association, and member of the Board of Directors of the Family Mediation Council for the State of Michigan. Ms. Souve is licensed to practice before both the Michigan Supreme Court and the United States Supreme Court.

She has been a volunteer speaker for local church groups, high schools, and other community-based organizations.

Jeremy M. Burks

Jeremy M. Burks is a partner at Souve, Pendracki, & Burks, P.L.L.C. He practices primarily in the field of family law in Wayne, Monroe, and Washtenaw counties. Mr. Burks is a member of the State Bar of Michigan and the Downriver Bar Association. A lifetime Downriver resident, Mr. Burks is admitted to practice in the Eastern District of Michigan and the State of Michigan.

Mr. Burks received his bachelor's degree from Michigan State University in 1996 and his law degree from Wayne State University in 1999. 

Michael Pendracki

Michael Pendracki is a partner at Souve, Pendracki, & Burks P.L.L.C., with over 31 years of experience. His practice is exclusively limited to family matters such as divorce, adoption, child support, and getting judgments enforced by the court after the divorce is final. He practices in Oakland, Wayne, and Macomb counties. His special emphasis is on custody cases. He has successfully taken many cases to trial for his clients.

Mr. Pendracki earned a bachelor's degree from Michigan State University in 1981. He received his law degree from Detroit College of Law in 1985. Additionally, Mr. Pendracki participates in several local youth athletic organizations and is involved with local youth sports teams. Mr. Pendracki is a longtime member of his local parish.

Attorney Jerard M. Scanland focuses his practice on criminal law, family law, auto accidents, and landlord-tenant cases. Having completed training for the Wayne County Court felony appointments and volunteering for court appointments in the 33rd District Court, Mr. Scanland has established a vast experience in and outside of the courtroom defending clients with great success.

Attorney Scott P. Mussin’s background provides him with extensive experience in the courtroom and handling litigation cases.

His experience working for one of the premier proto-chemical companies in the United States and in the office of the general counsel at Ford Motor Company, provided a concrete foundation to understand complex legal cases from the perspective of both plaintiff and defendant.

Now in the private sector, Mr. Mussin now focuses his litigation experience on vehicle defects, family law, and negligence and auto accident cases.
